Ulaanbaatar is the capital and the largest city of Mongolia, the population of Ulaanbaatar is over 1.3 million people. The city is located in north central Mongolia and is situated 1,310 metres above sea level. Chinggis Khaan Airport is located to the south of the city with main roads connecting it to the city. Road transport isn't the easiest as not all roads are paved or in good condition, however there is a bus and taxi service leading directly into the city. There is currently no metro, however this will be built by 2020, the city is also connected by the trans siberian railway.
